Spike Jonze
The music video director I looked at it Spike Jonze his visual style is very unique and stands out whenever you watch one of this videos. For example the two videos he made that stand out the most for me are Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim and Weezer by Buddy Holly, He seems to specialise in the Pop – rock genre of music as he also has worked with artists such as Jay-Z and Kanye West. His work is mainstream in the sense of very famous music videos and his use of narrative elements, Jonze also has a very quirky way of making the video fit the lyrics as it doesn’t fit like most videos do, this means its more eye catching and helps audiences to remember the song and video meaning more profit for the organisation which makes him popular.
